Arun’s parents came to St. Maarten on their honeymoon in the early 1970’s and never left! He was born and raised on the island but also spent 12 years living abroad in New Jersey, London, and Miami. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida International University (FIU), and a BTEC National Diploma in Hospitality Management from Southgate College (London, England). He became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida during his senior year at FIU, he moved back to St. Maarten in 2002… and has been serving the local real estate market ever since. In 2009 he started the ISLAND REAL ESTATE TEAM (IRE Team), and in 2016 he formed a strategic partnership to create a complimentary business IRE VACATIONS.

Arun is widely recognized within the local community as “that real estate guy” largely due to his appearance on popular US TV shows such as House Hunters International (HGTV), Caribbean Life (HGTV), Open House (NBC).
